Call for proposals: PSR CAMPANIA 2014-2020 - “SUPPORT FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT AND OPERATION OF THE PEI GO'S IN THE FIELD OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTIVITY AND SUSTAINABILITY”

The project aims to address nematological issues in vineyards in the Campania Region, highlighting the lack of information and the underestimation of both direct and indirect damage, such as virus transmission and interactions with phytopathogenic fungi. These problems cause quantitative and qualitative losses in production, as well as increased costs and pesticide use, negatively impacting the environment and product quality.

The project seeks to identify and solve these issues through field trials and the adoption of innovative strategies. A key aspect is the dissemination of results through training courses for farmers and technicians. The project also promotes the use of good agronomic practices, natural substances, biostimulants and beneficial microorganisms to improve soil–plant interactions and biological pest control.

Expected benefits include improved ecosystem health, effective nematode management, increased vineyard productivity, and the potential to transfer innovations to other contexts. The project’s sustainable approach promises long-term advantages for operators, consumers and the environment.
